Stitchfix!

So if you haven't heard about Stitchfix, now is the time!  I've been thinking about doing it for a long time now and looking at all of the cute things they send to everyone else, and I just scheduled my first "fix" to arrive in a couple of weeks!

So basically Stitchfix is a personal styling service.  You go online and fill out a profile about your size and body type and what kind of clothes and accessories you are into and price point as well.  You can tell them what specific pieces of clothing you would prefer for them to send to you or what you would like them to avoid.  They have petite selections as well, and you can let them know if you are pregnant.  You can leave a personal note to your stylist with anything specific you would like for them to know about you or any special events you have coming up.  You should also link to your Pinterest board to give them even more of an idea of your style.

Once you've told them about yourself, you decide when you want your fix to arrive, and at that point you can decide if you want fixes to come regularly or not.  There's no obligation to subscribe so no worries about forgetting to cancel.  You pay a $20 styling fee that will count towards anything you decide to purchase.

I haven't gotten my first fix yet, but I'm so excited for when I do!  From what I've seen they send you a box with 5 items and a personal styling card to give you an idea of what to do with the pieces.  They recommend you try everything on before making any judgments to at least give it a chance.  They try to keep the total amount for the box around $200, and if you buy all 5 pieces you get a 25% discount.

I think this is going to be very interested, and I'm still slightly skeptical as to how someone else can possibly pick out pants that could fit me, but I'm willing to give it a shot.  If you've been thinking about trying Stitchfix, go ahead and try it, and I would love if you use my referral link!  Stitchfix has a great referral program, so if you share with your friends ya'll can both benefit!

Annie Griffin Collection

Dress (exact)

This past month I discovered an awesome brand called Annie Griffin Collection. The patterns and colors are amazing and it's based out of Georgia which is pretty cool as well. Unfortunately this past week I learned that Annie Griffin might soon be vintage. I was so bummed and still kind of am, but on Instagram there was a post that Annie Griffin was having a huge warehouse sale in Atlanta. It just so happened that my mom was in ATL for a conference and she was about 5 minutes from the store!! I sent her pictures of a few things I really liked without much hope that they would be there.

Through multiple calls and FaceTime calls on my lunch break, my mom ended up finding both the dresses I really wanted in sizes we hoped would fit.

These dresses are amazing and I can't wait to wear them all the time. I wore this one to church on Sunday with some wedges. My sweet husband took these pics and we have some work to do but they're a little better than my mirror selfies.

If you also love Annie Griffin the sales are still posted on her website, and even though some stuff is sold out, there are still great deals to be had!

Weekend Style

I've had a pretty uneventful weekend, which has been nice after being out of town for the past few weekends and knowing I have a busy July coming up.  Sorry for the terrible quality of these pictures (definitely something that I need to improve!), but here are some of the outfits I wore this weekend.

Jeans (exact) / Tank (exact) / Cardigan (old from Forever 21 - similar) /
Sandals (old Nine West - similar)

I had a drug rep dinner to go to Thursday night, and it was the perfect time to try out my new white jeans from Old Navy.  I also got this great chiffon tank at Old Navy.  They've been running some great 1 day sales this summer, and they had these fun printed tanks for $4.

Friday after work my mom and I went to the dollar movie theater to see Cinderella.  I definitely recommend it.  Such a feel good movie, and I left wanting to be more kind so good job Disney.  It made me super excited for Beauty and the Beast!  Even though it was over 100 degrees here in Georgia, I always get cold at the movies so I went with some light jeans and a neon pink cardigan.  This is one of my favorite sweaters!  I got this cute striped tank at Old Navy for $2!

Saturday was pretty laid-back, but still so hot here!  My husband L and I went and did some errands and had lunch with his mom and grandma.  We went to Goody Two Shoes (an amazing store here in Augusta that I'll do a post on later) and to the grocery store and then stayed in to watch a movie.  This pretty floral tank came from Final Cut, which is an Urban Outfitters/Anthropologie outlet store here in Augusta.  I'll share more on that later too!

Welcome!

Hey guys!  My name is Savanna, and here's a little about me and what to expect from my blog.

I live in Georgia and work as a Physician Assistant in Dermatology.  I graduated about a year ago, and I love my job!  I wear scrubs everyday to work, so now whenever I do dress up I have become a lot more conscious of my clothes and I'm working on filling my closet with things I love.  I've always enjoyed looking at other people's lifestyle blogs, so I figured why not start one of my own!

I love a good deal and DIY projects, so I plan on sharing some of those with you as well as some of my outfits.  I may throw in some skincare tips as well since that's what I do everyday. I'm not exactly sure where this will go, but we will certainly see!
